Sylvanus Arboricultural Consultants Ltd - Terms of business
1. Fees:
Most our work is undertaken on the basis of a pre-agreed fixed fee quotation. Ion the absence of such an agreement we will charge at our hourly rate which clients are advised of prior to us being instructed.
2. Client Instructions:
No work will commence until the client ie the fee paying party, has issued written acceptance of out fee proposal (email will suffice).
3. Payment Terms:
Accounts must be settled within 30 days of date of invoice. This is irrespective of whether or not the instructing party has been paid by their principal or client. Overdue accounts will be charged interest at the rate of 5.5% above the bank base rate per month. All materials remain the property of Sylvanus Ltd. until such time as they are paid for in full.
4. Debt Recovery:
All unpaid accounts will be referred to the County Courts. Sylvanus Ltd. reserves the right to claim compensation in respect of debt recovery costs.
5. Additional Printing Costs:
Will be charged for additional copies of reports etc. Fees range from £25.00 depending upon the weight of the report.
6. Invoice queries:
Any discrepancy relating to this invoice must be notified by the customer, to Sylvanus Ltd. in writing, within seven days of the date of the invoice.
7. Payment:
Please make cheques payable to Sylvanus Ltd and quote invoice number on rear.
